President - Jon Bishop (he/him/his)

Bonjour! My name is Jon Bishop and I am a Junior in the College of Arts & Sciences and I am currently working towards a History major with minors in French & English! I am originally from Dallas, Texas and I am the biggest Beyoncé fan you'll ever meet. This is my third year on campus, and I am excited to work as your President to make continue the greatness that comes from this amazing student organization!  

As President, Jon's primary responsibilities are leading RHA senate and executive board meetings, chairing the Guns Up Forevermore Scholarship committee, and meeting with the University Student Housing Managing Director.


Vice President of Campus Traditions - Abbey Osborne (she/her/hers)

Hey y'all! My name is Abigale Osborne, but you can call me Abbey! I am a Biology Major with a double minor in Chemistry & Health Professions. I am from Marion, TX and a lover of all things red, black and Texas Tech! I look forward to meeting you all as I serve as your Vice President of Campus Traditions for the 2017-2018 school year. Be on the look out for traditional events & to see what TechSafe is doing in your hall! Wreck 'em Tech! 

As Vice President, Abbey is responsible for the planning and implementation of all major traditional events for RHA, co-chairing the TechSafe committee and being the RHA representative to TAB. 


Vice President of Programming and Public Relations - Alex Royal (she/her/hers)

Hey y'all! I'm Alex from Garland, Texas. I am a Public Relations major in the College of Media and Communications. I absolutely love working with RHA and am so excited to serve as your Vice President of Programming and Public Relations this year!

As Vice President, Alex is responsible for planning and implementing initiatives that best serve residence hall students, coordinating nontraditional programs, coordinating the RHA Newsletter, and co-chairing CUTE Club.


Vice President of Administration and Finance - William Harris (he/him/his)

Hi there! My name is William Harris, but you can call me Will! I am a Junior majoring in Human Development and Family Studies along with a minor in Public Health! I really enjoy working with people and have a strong passion for helping as many people as I can one day! I am originally from Plano, Texas and this is my first year being involved with the RHA executive team. I look forward to meeting and befriending so many of my fellow students this year! Stop by the RHA office and let us know if you need anything!

As Vice President, William is responsible for the administrative operations of RHA, including taking meeting minutes, maintaining a balanced budget, checking out RHA equipment, and co-chairing CCMD (Complex Council Membership Development Committee).


Vice President of External Affairs and NCC - Savannah Shelby (she/her/hers)

Hey cool cats! My name is Savannah Shelby and I am from Corpus Christi, TX. I am a Sophomore here at Texas Tech University and I am a dual degree student with majors in Communication Studies and Sociology and a minors in Legal Studies and Women Studies. I am a huge fan of sitcoms and pigs are my favorite animal! I am so excited to work with everyone this year and even more excited to help students experience RHA on the Regional and National level! Wreck 'em!

As Vice President, Savannah is responsible for representing RHA to outside entities, including within the SWACURH region and NACURH Inc., as well as coordinating RHA's attendance to the Regional Leadership, Regional Business & Annual Conferences. Savannah will also be chairing RHA's Leadership Inclusion Team (LIT).

Craig Kuehnert - Assistant Director for Student Leadership Development

As the Assistant Director for Student Leadership Development, Craig is responsible for the overall direction of student leadership, service, and involvement initiatives for the students that live on campus, as well as the advising of groups such as the Residence Halls Association and National Residence Hall Honorary.

Craig is from Fort Wayne, Indiana and has a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Ball State University and a Master’s degree from Kansas State University in College Student Personnel.

In his free time, Craig enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and all things Disney.


Residence Life Coordinator for Student Development - Alyson Cole (she/her/hers)

As the Residence Life Coordinator for Student Development, Alyson provides primary oversight for RHA initiatives. She advises the RHA Executive Board, oversees the work that is done through RHA’s committees, helps plan RHA’s conferences, and works with RHA members to plan events for all residence hall students.
 
Alyson is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan and received her Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Leadership Studies minor from Central Michigan University and received her Master’s Degree in Adult & Higher Education with a Student Affairs focus from Northern Illinois University. In her free time, Alyson enjoys hiking and exploring nature, relaxing at local coffee shops, and listening to just about every genre of music.
