Guns Up Forevermore Award

Founded in 2014 by the Residence Halls Association, the Guns Up Forevermore campaign recognizes students who have demonstrated their passion for Texas Tech by helping other students through the idea of 'paying it forward' and have exemplified the qualities of being an outstanding member of the Red Raider community by a continual show of school spirit.

Guns Up Forevermore awards are designed for students who go above and beyond to help other students and represent Texas Tech positively, so students are typically only awarded once during their career at Texas Tech.

Eligibility:

Nominees must be current full-time (12 hours or more) undergraduate students at Texas Tech University, must be in good standing with Texas Tech University and University Student Housing and have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher.

Donate:

Funding for the Guns Up Forevermore award is largely donated by current students, for students.  Most donations are small, $20 or less, but add up to make a big difference for those in need. This award is just one way that Red Raiders look out for each other. Donations are accepted throughout the year at various events within the residence halls, but can also be made online via Texas Tech's secure giving website. 100% of funds donated in this account are returned to students in the form of a scholarship.
