Welcome to the Texas Tech University American Chemical Society - Student Affiliate homepage!
The American Chemical Society at Texas Tech University is a student affiliate chapter of the National Organization. Our goals are to unite students interested in sciences, most predominately chemistry, to secure intellectual stimulation, to foster a professional spirit among members, and to instill a pride in chemistry by raising chemical awareness to the local community.
We host monthly meetings in order to discuss upcoming events and to meet other chemistry students and professors. We participate in events such as Texas Tech Arbor Day, Relay for Life, Adopt a Highway, Dance Marathon, and much more. Being a member of ACS has many advantages including networking with professors to conduct research in their labs, attending the national ACS meetings, and giving back to Texas Tech University and the surrounding community.
