WELCOME TO THE TTU TROMBONE STUDIO WEBSITE!
We promote the philosophy of mutual support, positive encouragement, and a never ending striving for excellence in everything we do to help everyone become better musicians, trombonists and people.
The Texas Tech Campus is a wonderful environment where students can focus well on their studies and adjust to college life and adulthood.
Some of the top trombone professional musicians and educators in the world have come to TTU to work with members of the studio and perform for the TTU Music Students and Lubbock Community. Over the past 5 years, performing greats such as Larry Zalkind, John Kitzman, Steve Norrell, The Viento Sur Trombone Quartet, Ken Shifrin, Mike Hall (Professor - Old Dominion University), David Tall (New Mexico Symphony Bass Trombonist), Wycliffe Gordon, Jim Pugh, Ron Barron, Mike Becker (Principal Trombonist - Tucson Symphony), John Fedchock, Robert Gillespie, Ko'ichiro Yamamoto, Gerry Pagano (Bass Trombonist - St. Louis Symphony), James T. Miller, Marshall Gilkes, Bill Reichenbach, Jay Evans (Principal Trombonist - Alabama Symphony), Amanda Stewart and Harold Van Schaik (Bass Trombonist - Florida Orchestra) have visited TTU and shared their expertise.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking time to come explore the Texas Tech Trombone Studio Webpage.
There is currently a new, bigger, better, and more enjoyable webpage in the works! We see this webpage coming to life in the near future.
If you have any ideas on things that you would like to see, or things that you think we should add on for our page to be more appealing, please send me an email - I would love to have your ideas, and could possibly use some of them in our new page.
Thank you for your time and thoughts,David Burris - webmaster
