About Us

Hello!

The Texas State Teachers Association - Student Program at Texas Tech is a student organization that welcomes all soon-to-be teachers, coaches, counselors, social workers, etc. TSTA- SP holds meetings twice a month where we have various activities such as talks from professional speakers, community service planning, and socials. This organization is a great way to network with educators out in the field and to ease the transition from the college classroom to “real world" classrooms. Along with meetings, we try and hold social and charity events.

New members can sign up at any time! A membership lasts for an entire school year and only costs $40 dollars. When you become a member, you receive member benefits, including, but not limited to: discounts on travels, airfare, hotels, shopping, auto/dental/medical insurance...the list goes on. We would be happy to email you a new member brochure which provides details of becoming a member. Join TSTA-SP by completing the online registration form here.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I am so excited that you’ve shown interest in TSTA-SP. This organization will be truly beneficial for your future career!  We are looking forward to a great year!

Sincerely,

Sarah Lane

TSTA-SP President
