This award recognizes outstanding achievement of a newer student organization within the past year. The organization must have been registered at TTU for three years or less. The review criteria will include the organizations ability to meeth the goals and objectives stated in their constitution. The organization should demonstrate a high level of achievement in one or more areas, such as membership invovlvement, organization development, leadership training and opportunity for members, shown active participation in TTU campus activities, and community service.
2012 Student Organization Academy - Registration Form
The 2012 Student Organization Academy will take place on Saturday, March 24th in the Student Union Building. The Academy is a one day training session that teaches student leaders how to make their organization a meaningful experience for its members.Various educational sessions are provided covering topics such as: Member recruiting and retention, ethics, spirit and sportsmanship, event planning, communication, etc. The state required Risk Management training will also be provided as well as Re-Registration information for 2012 - 2013.

Time: Check in begins at 8:15am, sessions begin at 9:15 and end at 3pm

Outstanding Organization Advisor of the Year
This award recognizes the advisor whose ability to support, educate, and encourage the student organization goes above and beyond the expected norm. This advisor has demonstrated remarkable dedication to, and support of the organization. This advisor's role and service to the organization will also be taken into consideration. Up to two awards will be given in this category; one from those advisors who volunteer their time to the group they advise, and one from those advisors who advise the organization as part of their job responsibilities. Nominations for this category must come from a member of the student organization that the nominee advises.

Thank you for your willingness to be a “Break Out” presenter at this year’s Student Organization Academy. Our student leaders will greatly benefit from your knowledge and expertise!
Student organizations must register or re-register annually. To complete the online registration process, organizations must update their organization's OrgSync Profile with the most current information, fill out, print off and sign a PDF copy of the "University Policy Agreement", and turn it into the Center for Campus Life office, located in room 201 of the Student Union Building, after attending a registration meeting.
In an effort to accommodate as many students as possible, this year the Center for Campus Life is giving you the option to request a specific number of tickets. There isn’t a minimum or maximum number of tickets that we will suggest. However, we only want you to request tickets for those that WILL attend the awards banquet. Officers, award nominees, and Greek Leadership participants are suggested to attend. The Center for Campus Life will try to accommodate your ticket request to the best of our ability.
This award will recognize the outstanding chapter in each council. To receive the chapter of the year award, the judges will only consider the chapters from each Council that received recognition in all three categories: Excellence in Community Service, Excellence in Leadership, and Excellence in Scholarship.
This recognition honors chapters who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement and have made the academic success of their members a high priority. To receive this award, your chapter must be in the top 50% of your council GPA rankings and be at or above the All Male/Female GPA for the University. To be eligible for Chapter of the Year or the Dean’s Cup, chapters must receive this award.
This recognition honors chapters who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the Texas Tech and Greek community as well as leadership in their national/regional organizations. Chapters must receive this recognition to be eligible for Chapter of the Year and the Dean’s Cup.
This recognition honors chapters who have demonstrated outstanding service to the Lubbock and Texas Tech communities as well as their work on philanthropic endeavors locally and nationally. Chapters must receive this recognition to be eligible for Chapter of the Year and the Dean’s Cup.
• Must be an active member of an IFC Fraternity
• Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Must be in good standing at Texas Tech University
• Must demonstrate outstanding inter-fraternalism and community building within the IFC member organizations
The purpose of this scholarship is to honor a Panhellenic woman who has demonstrated exemplary service to the Panhellenic community, her sorority, and Texas Tech University. To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be an active member of a National Panhellenic Conference Sorority.
This award is designated for senior men and women (90+hours) in their respective Greek council at Texas Tech University who demonstrate outstanding achievement on campus and in their fraternity or sorority. These individuals should excel academically and be positive role models in the Greek community. Minimum cumulative GPA is 3.0.
