Take A Kid to The Game Student Organization SignUp2011 2.doc The Student Government Association knows you are all working extremely hard this semester to get involved on campus! There will be an outstanding service opportunity for you on October 29th, 2011. The Student Government Association would like to invite you and your organization to be a part of TAKE A KID TO THE GAME. Since this tradition began in 1992, over 11,000 local and area children have been given the chance to attend a Red Raider football game. Sponsors make it possible for 1000 kids to attend the Texas Tech vs. Iowa State. TAKE A KID TO THE GAME is made possible because Tech students, like you, have given their time to volunteer and accompany these 4th through 6th graders to the game. Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be provided. This is a great community service project for all organizations large or small. TAKG Volunteers cannot attend or bring their kids to RaiderGate. Please fill out the attached sign-up sheet with the participating members of your organization (feel free to attach additional sheets) and turn it in to the Student Government Office, located on the 3rd floor of the new Student Union Building. There will be a mandatory meeting that all participating organizations must send a representative to on Thursday, October27th at 4:00 in the Student Senate Room on the 1st floor of the SUB. We look forward to working with your organization. |
